It isn't as yellow as Goldspar, but it comes in several grades of hardness and gloss, and dries dependably within hours. Despite the label, I also find it gives a good even finish with a foam roller, so I spend less time cutting back.
Good to hear from you.robert.ditterichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09989884861193656940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7174089749871447668.post-40859866765886942732011-02-12T19:48:23.582-08:002011-02-12T19:48:23.582-08:00I am in the throes of varnishing my topsides, usin...I am in the throes of varnishing my topsides, using International Goldspar. I am also having a terrible time with it - the stuff won't set hard even after weeks in the sun. I can still stick a thumbnail into it and peel it off. I'm almost off my trolley with frustration.

Still enjoying your build, btw :). My current build, a canoe, is a lot more relaxing without a deadline but it will be cloggong up my workshop for a long time. I tend to use my self imposed deadlines to understand what standards I need to compromose. Now that I've retired I seem to have less time for boat building than I did before. I haven't worked that one out yet.

She's Looking Great.Graham Neilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05799325184475918080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7174089749871447668.post-23896848111582650322011-02-04T11:34:15.977-08:002011-02-04T11:34:15.977-08:00looks great!looks great!urbanmonkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17674871237002604796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7174089749871447668.post-7680881059105198652011-02-04T08:45:48.283-08:002011-02-04T08:45:48.283-08:00i love the profoundness of the statement above..ni...i love the profoundness of the statement above..nice one.......I agree with LA MAR this is impressive craftsmanship

Stevestevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06932550661580632605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7174089749871447668.post-62629981737605709712011-02-04T05:40:39.785-08:002011-02-04T05:40:39.785-08:00"perfection is possible but the cost is infin..."perfection is possible but the cost is infinite" a monk friend of mine told me it.
