I am amazed by this pics Rob !........very nice natural landscapes, specially the last pic with so many colours. Congratulations...you live in a wonderfull environment.
I have a question about those vibrant colors, Rob. Isn't it mid-winter in your part of the world? Here in the Pacific Northwest, winter turns everything shades of gray. What is that lovely vegetation?
Thanks both. Yes it is mid-winter, but somehow the atmosphere plays tricks with the light sometimes, particularly during/after storms. That's when we like to walk on the beach. I've always loved clouds. As to that colourful vegetation, it is a collection of heaths and succulents which have managed to survive on volcanic rocks and sand...not very common, and lovely to find. This coast points to Antartica, and there is not much between the two so the coast can become pretty extreme.
